Alopecia Areata

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Alopecia areata is a condition in which hair is lost in patches from areas of the body, usually from the scalp. In 1%–2% of cases, the condition can spread to the entire scalp (Alopecia totalis) or to the entire epidermis (Alopecia universalis).

Most of the patients we get have been suffering with single or multiple patches of hair loss for years and have tried all systems of medication including local steroid injections. We have been able to help with the regrowth of hair in their bald patches and also ensure that these patches do not recur. We have had fair amount of success in treating alopacea.

Alopecia areata:
We get a lot of patients who have just been diagnosed with alopecia areata or who have been taking allopathic medications for alopecia, coming to us asking us if we can help them.

How common is alopecia?
Around 147 million people are affected with Alopecia areata worldwide, it affects over a million people in World.

Symptoms of alopecia:
Alopecia areata is a condition where you tend to lose hair in patches, it commonly affects the scalp, where you lose hair in a round patch like a coin. It is usually your hairstylist or someone combing your hair who will tell you about the patch and you get worried. Naturally, you will search about it all over the internet and see what alopecia is. They give you a lot of reasons why alopecia happens, why you should be careful, what can happen to you all the way up to cancer.

Alopecia is a very common condition. We keep seeing people day in and day out coming to us with alopecia. We have a lot of adults, kids, and women suffering from alopecia.

Allopathic approach:
They normally give you a steroid injection and usually, you get your hair back. It’s a good thing, provided it’s a single patch but most of the time it does not remain as a single patch, you keep getting multiple patches all over the scalp, it can also affect the hair on your hands, legs, and chest. In this case, you can’t have injections everywhere on your body can you ?

What you need to understand is, it is a process that is happening from the inside. It is not an external problem. If you keep treating it from outside, you are not going to have a solution to the problem, it has to go from inside, not from outside.

Homeopathic approach:
We have been treating people with alopecia for many years. What we have seen is in about 2 or 3 months, the hair follicles begin to appear and the hair follicles which appear would be very thin hair, it may be grey in colour also, but don’t worry about it. Over a period of time the patches will be covered by new hair and the hair thickness will normally come back.

There are a lot of patients who come to us with alopecia. They need to be very patient. They start responding in a month or two, they will find fine strands of hair coming up, but for the entire hair to come back, it takes months. We also need to make sure that no new patches develop , that is the reason it takes time.

Homeopathic medicines prevent new patches from coming up and helps in the growth of new hair cells. It takes about three to six months, sometimes it takes more time but there is a permanent solution to the problem.

A lot of people all over the world have alopecia, a lot of kids, women, men have alopecia and this can be treated. There is nothing for you to panic. The moment you see it, you might panic and think what is this? what will happen if I lose all my hair? It does not happen that way, all you need to do is stop the process from inside and it’s a very simple procedure.

Once you take medicines for a few months, you’ll even forget that you had alopecia. There’s absolutely nothing to worry about. We can take care of it.

People who are already on allopathic medication:
We make them stop their allopathic medication and we ask them to take Homeopathy for three months. Most people respond in about three to six months, some people take a longer time to respond.

What happens if you leave it alone?
If you leave it alone, you may have a lot more patches coming up, it doesn’t look very nice. It’s not socially a very great thing to have but apart from that nothing much happens. You also need to rule out if you have thyroid problems because that can also contribute to it.

Diet restrictions:
There are no diet restrictions that I am aware of.

What would I do if I were in your place?
I would for sure not start allopathic medications for alopecia. I know that I am not risking anything by giving Homeopathy around 3-6 months to try and get rid of alopecia.

Do not start on any allopathic medications until you have given Homeopathy a try for at least about three to six months. Trust me, nothing is going to happen to you in these three to six months’ time. But if these medicines can help you avoid steroid injections and completely cure your alopecia, isn’t it worth giving it a try?

Stay safe. Take care.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][tm_contact_form_7 id=”2534″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” font_style=”italic” align=”center” text=”Your email address will not be published.” css=”.vc_custom_1540454250212{margin-top: 20px !important;}”][tm_spacer size=”lg:60″][tm_box_icon style=”3″ icon_type=”fontawesome5″ icon_fontawesome5=”far fa-map-marker-alt” custom_border_color=”#d4d2d2″ border_style=”dashed” heading=”Location” text=”Bahria Town, Lahore, Pakistan” button=”|||” lg_spacing=”margin_bottom:30;border_bottom:1;padding_bottom:30″][tm_box_icon style=”3″ icon_type=”fontawesome5″ icon_fontawesome5=”far fa-phone-plus” custom_border_color=”#d4d2d2″ border_style=”dashed” heading=”For Appointment” text=”Via Phone Call & Whatsapp
