Varicose Veins

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Varicose veins are swollen, twisted, and sometimes painful veins that have filled with an abnormal collection of blood.

Causes, incidence, and risk factors

In normal veins, valves in the vein keep blood moving forward toward the heart. With varicose veins, the valves do not function properly, allowing blood to remain in the vein. Pooling of blood in a vein causes it to enlarge. This process usually occurs in the veins of the legs, although it may occur elsewhere. Varicose veins are common, affecting mostly women.

Varicose veins:
When you look at your legs, you will see blue, green-colored veins which go down your legs, all of us have them and they are more noticeable in fair people. These are veins, they are not varicose veins. But when these veins become multiple, gauge out and you can feel them outside, it is called as varicose veins.

How common are varicose veins?
Globally, around 10 to 20% of people suffer from varicose veins. It is more common in women than in men.

Symptoms of varicose veins:
Some people experience pain, they cannot stand for too long, they feel their leg are tired at the end of the day and want to press their legs and keep their legs high.

90% of the time varicose veins are hereditary, either your parents, uncle, aunt, or somebody in the family has them.

What is the mechanism behind it?
Veins pump your impure blood back into the heart so that it can be purified. But people with varicose veins have weak veins and cannot pump the impure blood back to the heart properly. The elasticity of the veins becomes a little loose leading to pooling of the blood in your lower limbs causing pain, discomfort. When you have pain or discomfort, you start massaging your legs or ask somebody to massage them, what you are doing here is, you are manually pumping your blood back and you feel good or you keep your foot up, and the blood comes back into the heart easily and you feel good again.

Allopathic approach:
You get worried and go to the doctor, the doctor takes a look at it and he will probably make you do a Doppler test and say that you have varicose veins. He will first give you stockings to wear which will support your pumping action. There are some medications that improve circulation but there is no proper cure for varicose veins in allopathy. In extreme cases, he will tell you that you need to go for laser surgery.

Homeopathic approach:
I am not saying that I can cure varicose veins, all I am saying is I can help you manage varicose veins. If you come in the initial stages, we give you medicines which can strengthen the veins and see that it does not go into the second and third stage. For people with no symptoms and is just a cosmetic issue, we can reduce it to a large extent, the colour will come down once you start on the medicines.

Once you start on the medicines, it improves the blood circulation, and the pains, discomfort comes down. We have been able to treat a lot of people with varicose ulcers and gangrene. There are homeopathic miracles in cases of gangrene.

What happens if you leave it alone?
In most people, it does not cause any discomfort, it is just cosmetic trouble, they do not like the way it looks. In some people, it starts to pain and if it is left alone, it can cause major complications, it can keep gauging, veins become loose and loose and one day it will just burst. When a blood vessel bursts, the bleeding does not stop, it will come out continuously.

Varicose veins can also cause ulcers which are called as varicose ulcers. Once you have varicose ulcers, no matter what you do they just do not heal, the ulcers go on for months and years together discharging pus and blood. In extreme cases, it becomes gangrene where the blood supply is stopped or becomes compromised.

Do’s and Don’ts:
Do not stand for long hours and work, whenever you have an opportunity keep your feet elevated. Try and get used to wearing the stockings. Keep yourself active.

We can manage varicose veins effectively with a little bit of management from your side and medicines from our side.

What would I do if I was in your place?
I would for sure not take any allopathic medicines or go for surgery. I know that I am not risking anything by giving Homeopathy around 3 to 6 months to try and manage varicose veins and varicose ulcers.

Do not start on any allopathic medications or go for surgery until you have given Homeopathy a try for at least about three to six months. Trust me, nothing is going to happen to you in these three to six months’ time. But if these medicines can help you manage varicose veins, varicose ulcers, gangrene, and avoid surgery for the rest of your life, isn’t it worth giving it a try?

Take care, stay safe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][tm_contact_form_7 id=”2534″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” font_style=”italic” align=”center” text=”Your email address will not be published.” css=”.vc_custom_1540454250212{margin-top: 20px !important;}”][tm_spacer size=”lg:60″][tm_box_icon style=”3″ icon_type=”fontawesome5″ icon_fontawesome5=”far fa-map-marker-alt” custom_border_color=”#d4d2d2″ border_style=”dashed” heading=”Location” text=”Bahria Town, Lahore, Pakistan” button=”|||” lg_spacing=”margin_bottom:30;border_bottom:1;padding_bottom:30″][tm_box_icon style=”3″ icon_type=”fontawesome5″ icon_fontawesome5=”far fa-phone-plus” custom_border_color=”#d4d2d2″ border_style=”dashed” heading=”For Appointment” text=”Via Phone Call & Whatsapp
