My Recovery Journey – A Story of Progress and Hope

I am writing it again to monitor my progress, to pay tribute to your constant efforts and in the hope that it will help somebody someday.

Overall Experience

• I feel very positive about my treatment and the progress I have made.

• The overall management has been effective and well-structured.

• I feel hopeful about achieving full recovery.

• Comparing my condition from day one to today, the improvement is remarkable.

Physical Health Improvements

Over the past month, my health has improved significantly. Initially, I experienced:

• Leucorrhoea

• Palpitations

• Nightmares

• Dizziness

• Lethargy and weakness

• Numbness

• Severe sleep deprivation

• Nausea and vomiting

• Migraines and headaches

• Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME / CFS)

Now, almost all of these symptoms have eased. The only lingering issue is occasional tremors, which have remained stable for the past two days. Even when they occur, my prescribed medication helps manage them effectively.

Sleep – A Major Breakthrough

Sleep was one of my biggest challenges, but the improvement has exceeded my expectations:

• Over 20 nights of normal sleep in a month – something I never thought possible.

• Only 7 to 8 nights with mild sleep disturbances.

• Just two sleepless nights – a significant improvement.

• Nightmares have completely disappeared. I used to wake up multiple times, sometimes even falling out of bed, but now I sleep peacefully.

Other Health Improvements

• Leucorrhoea has improved by 90%.

• Other symptoms occur occasionally but are no longer disruptive.

Minor Setback

I had two episodes of diarrhoea this month, but both resolved naturally without medical intervention.

As I said earlier, I am not 100% symptom free but whenever any symptom came, it was addressed on priority basis with huge concern.
