What is travel sickness?
Travel sickness is the feeling of vomiting or giddiness or the sick feeling that you feel when you are travelling by car, bus, boat, lorry, or train. Some people feel sick only when they sit in the front seat or the back seat. A lot of people get into the car, close their eyes and sit because they cannot look outside at the moving objects. They feel nauseous, giddy, and sick when they see moving objects.
They feel sick during the journey and feel fine once the journey comes to an end. There are a lot of kids who wake up in the morning, go to school and the moment they reach school they either vomit or feel sick or when they come back from school they feel sick. Some people get travel sickness only on winding roads.
A lot of these things go undiagnosed because people do not think why this is happening. Travel sickness can run in the family.
Allopathic approach:
There are not many medications for travel sickness in allopathy or any other systems of medicines. (They just give you a pill, you take it and you feel better but you go back in the car or bus the next day, you feel sick again. There is no cure for travel sickness in allopathy.)
Homeopathic approach:
We get a lot of people with travel sickness and we have been able to treat them successfully. Homeopathy has medicines that work like magic for travel sickness.
