Nasal polyps:
Nasal polyps are growths that happen a little inside the nostril, it can happen in one nostril or sometimes in both the nostrils. These growths are like, suppose you fill a white balloon with water, these are sacs filled with water.
How common are nasal polyps?
Around 4% of the population suffers from nasal polyps.
Symptoms of nasal polyp:
Once you develop nasal polyp, the first thing it does is, it obstructs your breathing, you cannot breathe properly, your nose is blocked all the time, so you keep your mouth open and breath while sleeping and you snore. Most people with polyp have loss of smell, they are not able to smell anything, and they have headaches, allergies, sneezes, runny nose, itching in the eyes. There is a change of sound when you talk, your voice is different, you sound very nasal, sometimes you are talking to your friend and they say what happened you got a cold, why are you sounding like that? You are all the time sounding nasal.
As the polyp obstructs your nasal passage, you cannot breathe properly, your brain does not get enough oxygen and you feel dull, sleepy all the time. You do not feel fresh when you wake up in the morning, you are all the time going around with an inhaler or sniffing Vicks, you clear your throat frequently, whenever you want to speak you first clear your throat and then speak.
Let us not get into why and how polyp happens, how does it help you? All you need to know is that nasal polyp comes because you have some kind of underlying condition like an allergy, sinusitis, or infections.
Allopathic approach:
When you go to an allopathic doctor, he will make you go for an X-ray, CT scan and will tell you that you have nasal polyp, these are growths and they have to be removed or they can become infected and the infection can spread to the brain. He will scare you and obviously you get scared, you go for the surgery, get your polyps removed and then he will tell you that you need to use steroid nasal sprays for three months. For the 3 months, you are fine, you can breathe, you are on top of the world, and you feel so nice about yourself. But after 3 months, once you get rid of the nasal spray, the polyps will start growing again and you are back to square one.
Homeopathic approach:
We identify that the polyps are there for a reason, it is not just a sack you are born with, right? If you are born with polyps, you would have breathing trouble from the beginning. It is something that is coming because there is a process that is happening in your body that is causing polyp. If you remove the polyp, how will the process stop? It does not stop. Does it make sense?
Homeopathic medicines stop the process of polyp formation. It is not something that you can just stop, it takes a little time. But over a period of time, the process of polyp formation stops. Slowly the blood supply to the polyp stops and it falls out. We have had a lot of patients coming and telling that while I was blowing my nose, I had something fall out, it just comes off completely. With homeopathic treatment, nasal polyps completely go away and it does not come back again.
People who are already on allopathic medication:

What happens if you don’t treat nasal polyps?

Nothing much, just avoid cold curd and banana because it increases the phlegm formation.
Do’s and Don’ts:
We also give you a colorless liquid to mix with water and steam. You need to put about 8 to 10 drops and steam every day at least once at night. While steaming with our drops you do not have to cover yourself or sweat or sit close to the steam. Just put these drops, they do not even smell, breathe in through your nose and breathe out through the mouth for 3 to 5 minutes.
Try not to sleep directly under the fan and avoid the blower of your AC on your face.
What would I do if I were in your place?
I would for sure not start allopathic nasal sprays or go for surgery. I know that I am not risking anything by giving Homeopathy around 3 months to try and get rid of nasal polyps.
Do not start on any allopathic medications until you have given Homeopathy a try for at least about three to six months. Trust me, nothing is going to happen to you in these three to six months’ time.
