[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Herpes:
We get a lot of patients who have just been diagnosed with herpes or who have post herpetic neuralgia, coming to us asking if we can help them.

How common is Herpes?
Globally, around 3.7 billion people get herpes infection.

What is Herpes?
When you wake up in the morning, you suddenly find a red patch either on your chest, neck, back or anywhere on the body. These red rashes become itchy and as you start scratching they become little bubble-like eruptions and then they start to burn, itch, and spreads more. They are usually one-sided.

You get worried and go to the doctor, the doctor diagnoses it as herpes. Herpes is a viral infection that affects the peripheral nerves in a particular area, once you have herpes, it goes away within a couple of weeks, it is usually self-limiting or goes away with simple medications, It forms black crusts and falls away.

Herpes can be very contagious. The problem is not herpes, herpes will go away on its own, the problem is something called post-herpetic neuralgia.

What is post herpetic neuralgia?
We get a lot of patients who have suffered from herpes, coming back to us about a year or two later, saying that the site where they had herpes keeps paining. There is significant burning, electric shock-like pains that they are just not able to manage. This happens because the herpes virus affects the nerves and causes pain and burning. This is called as post herpetic neuralgia which remains for a long time.

Allopathic approach:
(There is no cure for herpes in allopathy, they give you antivirals to shorten the period of herpes. In case of post herpetic neuralgia, they give you painkillers, if these do not help, sometimes they also put you on anti-depressants.)

Homeopathic approach:
You need to understand that your nerves are inflamed and cause pain, this neuralgia has to be treated. Homeopathy has some wonderful medicines for post herpetic neuralgia.

If you can start homeopathic medications while you have herpes, it not only takes care of herpes but also prevents post herpetic neuralgia. If by any chance you were not able to take the medicines during herpes, post herpes when you have post herpetic neuralgia, contact a homeopathic doctor, there are wonderful medicines that can get rid of your pain. Post herpetic neuralgia can be very painful and we have been able to help a lot of people get rid of their pain.

People who are already on allopathic medication:
We make them stop their allopathic medication and ask them to take Homeopathy for three months. In some cases where the post herpetic neuralgia is chronic, we start homeopathic medicines along with allopathy and over a period of time, we taper off their allopathic medicines. Most people respond in about three to six months.

What happens if you don’t treat herpes?
(Herpes is self-limiting and it will go away after some time but if post herpetic neuralgia is left alone, the pain and burning keeps on increasing and reaches a stage where you cannot tolerate the pain or do anything because of the pain.)

Diet restrictions:
There are no diet restrictions to follow.

Do’s and Don’ts:
There are few things that you can do for temporary relief like applying oil and cold water but these things do not cure post herpetic neuralgia.

What would I do if I were in your place?
I would for sure not go start allopathic medications. I know that I am not risking anything by giving Homeopathy around two to three months to try and get rid of post herpetic neuralgia permanently.

Do not take painkillers or anti-depressants until you have given Homeopathy a try for at least about three to six months. Trust me nothing is going to happen to you in these three to six months’ time. If these medicines can help you avoid painkillers and get rid of your herpes and post herpetic neuralgia permanently, isn’t it worth giving it a try?

Take care, stay safe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][tm_contact_form_7 id=”2534″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” font_style=”italic” align=”center” text=”Your email address will not be published.” css=”.vc_custom_1540454250212{margin-top: 20px !important;}”][tm_spacer size=”lg:60″][tm_box_icon style=”3″ icon_type=”fontawesome5″ icon_fontawesome5=”far fa-map-marker-alt” custom_border_color=”#d4d2d2″ border_style=”dashed” heading=”Location” text=”Bahria Town, Lahore, Pakistan” button=”|||” lg_spacing=”margin_bottom:30;border_bottom:1;padding_bottom:30″][tm_box_icon style=”3″ icon_type=”fontawesome5″ icon_fontawesome5=”far fa-phone-plus” custom_border_color=”#d4d2d2″ border_style=”dashed” heading=”For Appointment” text=”Via Phone Call & Whatsapp
